This lakeside property had the full package going on - beautiful blue cedar shake siding, stone accents, a turret, massive windows with lake views, and a full array of solar panels on the roof. A home like this deserves to be maintained the right way. Not just for looks, but for function too.

We ran a complete soft wash on the exterior. Soft washing uses low pressure and a cleaning solution to break down the stuff that clings to siding over time - dirt, spider webs, algae, and organic buildup. It's safe on cedar shake and gets into all the nooks that a pressure washer would either miss or damage. The results speak for themselves on a home with this much surface area and architectural detail.

Then came the solar panels. A lot of homeowners don't think about cleaning their panels, but grime and film on the surface cuts into how much sunlight the panels can actually absorb. We used a pure water fed pole system to scrub and rinse each panel without leaving any mineral deposits behind. One technician working the pole from the ground, another on the roof making sure every panel got full coverage.

Solar panels are an investment. A dirty panel isn't performing the way it should, and the fix is genuinely straightforward. Getting them cleaned as part of a regular home maintenance routine is one of those small things that adds up over time in terms of efficiency and longevity.

Between the house wash and the panel cleaning, this home came out looking sharp and running better. That's the goal every time we pull up to a property like this.
